Background

YWAM Caribbean's purpose is to mobilize, train and send Caribbean missionaries to the world, particular the 10/40 window.  We have a particular emphasis on where our nations are historically linked, i.e. West Africa.  We have the descendants of most of West Africa's unreached groups living in the Caribbean.  They are now believers so all that is needed is to mobilize, train and send them out at missionaries.  We also have the descendants from India and Indonesia living in the Caribbean, so they are also target areas.

We already have a team in West Africa and people; two teams of workers are on their way to Senegal to work among the Tecular and Fulbi unreached people.   Teams are forming for Equatorial Guinea, Central Africa, the Fon of Benin, West Africa, and a team is working with the Uighurs of China.   Along with this, we are working among the Amerindians of Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.   YWAM Caribbean has a staff about 200 and growing, so that our nations become sending nations.
